What We Do
 

Lighthouse Academy at Newburg provides a free after school program for elementary and middle school students from the Newburg area. We focus on homework completion, reading, and math tutoring. After  homework and tutoring, children may participate in any of our free enrichment programs.

Our free after school program  runs from 2:30pm-6:30pm Monday-Thursday during the school year. We provide a hot meal every day from Dare to Care  and homework assistance for Middle School from 3:05pm-3:30pm and Elementary from 4:00pm-4:30 pm. Enrichment activities are from 5:30pm-6:30pm.
 
Summer Program:
Our  5-week summer day program includes field trips to area attractions, theme- based activities to retain academic skills, and projects. It's a safe, welcoming place for your child to have fun and learn! For more information, Call Cynthia Overall at 502-964-5909.

GED Program:
The Lighthouse Academy partners with Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) to offer a GED program at the Lighthouse. The program runs Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 12 noon. For more information or to register, call JCPS at 502-485-3400 or visit the JCPS web site.
